Alex Larson is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC). As an undergraduate student, he studied under leading ethnopharmacologist Dr. Dennis McKenna. Alex completed his Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health at the University of Minnesota. His clinical approach is holistic, attending to an individual's psychological, social, biological and, if important to the individual, spiritual, aspects of the self. He incorporates empirically-validated treatment interventions with clients such as harm reduction modalities, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy and has lectured for professionals and graduate students about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
