Kira Baker

PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Kirstin 'Kira' Baker is a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience in inpatient and community mental health. Her path into psychiatry began as a registered nurse, where she developed a deep respect for presence, patience, and practical skill—qualities that continue to guide her work today.

Kira's clinical interests include addiction medicine, treatment-resistant mental health disorders, and emerging areas of psychedelic-assisted therapy. She is also committed to cannabis education and harm-reduction practices, helping clients make informed, evidence-based choices about integrative treatment options.

Her approach blends medication management with holistic strategies such as lifestyle modification, nutritional and natural supports, and psychoeducation. Kira emphasizes curiosity and collaboration, guiding each client toward progress that feels realistic, self-directed, and rooted in authentic self-understanding.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through physical training, spending time in nature, creating in many forms, and exploring the intersection of science, spirituality, and mental wellness. She values the process of genuinely getting to know oneself and believes that creativity is a pathway to wholeness.
