Ben Felten is a Masters of Social Work student pursuing a career in clinical social work with a trauma perspective. Ben’s particular area of focus within this field is studying the manifestations of trauma taking place within religious or spiritual contexts. Considering the spiritual experiences occasioned by psychedelic medicine, Ben sees the incorporation of psychedelics within therapy as being particularly useful for addressing spiritual trauma, and for the integration of mind, body, and spirit-based wisdom in the pursuit of holistic wellness.
Ben values spending time connecting with nature and learning from the rich array of plants, animals, fungi, and landscapes that they encounter. Additionally, Ben enjoys taking time to make art as a form of creative healing expression.
